Klong Lan Waterfall is a n most attraction for tourism in Klong Lan National Park, located on Amphur Klong Lan, Kampaeng Phet province.

15 december 2007, Our trip to Klong Lan was start from Bangkok by driving a car, then we arrived about 5 pm that is the closing time of Klong Lan National Park of Thailand.

Royal Barge Procession for Royal Kathin Ceremony at Wat Arun Ratchawararam, 5 November 2007.
Thailand’s Royal Barge Procession (กระบวนพยุหยาตราชลมารค) is a ceremony which since nearly 700 years ago. The exquisitely crafted Royal Barges are a blend of craftsmanship and traditional Thai art. The Royal Barge Procession takes place rarely, typically coinciding with only the most significant cultural and religious events. This time is a royal ceremony for the King Bhumibol Adulyadej to personally presents robes (Kathin) to the Buddhist Monks at Wat Arun Ratchawararam (วัดอรุณราชวราราม)which traditionally takes place at end of the annual Buddhist Rains Retreat, or 'Ork Pansa : ออกพรรษา'.

Thailand’s Royal Barge Procession most likely began during the Ayutthaya period, in the 14th century. Western visitors witnessed and wrote about the immense procession with about 200 boats upon their arrival in Thailand in the 18th century.

The Royal Barge Procession formation is arranged into five columns, with the Royal Barges in the center, and two rows of war barges on each side.

The Royal Barge Anantanagaraj, Suphannahongsa, Narai Song Suban HM Rama IX and Anekchatbhuchongse are arranged from first to last in the center column respectively.

Ok let continue from the previous Erawan National Park or Erawan Waterfall National Park(อุทยานแห่งชาติเอราวัณ) 2, previously I'm forgot to post the image of waterfall sign, so it now below.

Erawan Thailand National Park 1

Erawan National Park or Erawan Waterfall National Park(อุทยานแห่งชาติเอราวัณ) is a most of the best target trip for my go outsite travelling plan, today(visit date) 6 oct. 2007 is a so good weather condition I hope that there is enough water flow from the hill arround Kanchanaburi province, so I drived my car from Bangkok/Thailand in the morning about 8.30.

we are on the way start from BaromarachaChonani over-head highway (บรมราชชนนี) with about 2 hours, we are arrived at down town of Kanchanaburi Province, and then drive continueusly around 40 kilometers to the Erawan National Park.

There is a small size dam names Thathungna dam (เขื่อนท่าทุ่งนา) between Srinakarin Lake and a larger one Srinakarin dam (เขื่อนศรีนครินทร์).

We are decide to drive through the Srinakarin dam for the first destrination today, it just a few kilometers from Thathungna dam (เขื่อนท่าทุ่งนา).

So now we're arrived, and it's a time for lunch.

Finish our lunch time, we drive back arround 3 km to Erawan National Park right here.

Overview: Erawan National Park is about 550 square kilometer park in western of Thailand located in Kanchanaburi Province, Amphoe Si Sawat in the tambon Tha Kradan. Founded in 1975, it is Thailand's 12th national park.

The major attraction of the park is Erawan Waterfalls, named after the erawan, the three-headed white elephant of Hindu mythology. The seven-tiered falls are said to resemble the erawan. Erawan National Park rise 165 to 996 meters above sea level.

It is a very nice place at the 1st waterfall level

Erawan Waterfall are 7 levels of this stunning waterfall drops 1,500 m. down steep-sided cliffs. It is surrounded by beautiful forest with many types of trees and orchids. There is a trail as far as the 6th level and from there you have to scramble up the cliff to reach the 7th level.
